Nala came to live with us after her original owner decided that she could no longer take care of her appropriately. She was a city cat, that came to live in the country. She is still adjusting to her new surrowndings. Soon after we brought Nala home, she became scared and escaped from the house. She was missing for three days. We found her hiding in the garage. She's slowly becoming accustomed to the other cats, although she still stays her distance from them.
Her original oweners (my niece) had her de-clawed. One evening, as Nala was prowling in the evening, a neighborhood dog began to chase her. Our dog, Sasha immediately came to her rescue.
