Behold I bring you good tidings of great joy!
At 10:53am of April 24, 2001 my life changed forever: a bouncing baby girl was born. We were expecting her exactly on our first wedding anniversary (per ultrasound results) but apparently she was kinda impatient!
On her natal day, she only registered 5lbs 15oz in weight and 46cm in height (read: petite). Interestingly, she's the type who readily offers her contagious smile and laughter, prompted or not. Wow, suddenly, I feel so complete beyond words.
Her name, thanks to her mom, is Dascha Bernice. Dascha (pronounced with silent C) means "Gift of God" while Bernice means "Brings Victory." Aside from being unique, we thought the name was appropriate since we went through a difficult pregnancy. However, with God's grace, everything turned out fine and my beloved wife, Doby Love, had a normal delivery.
