Yesterday  February, 3rd, 2004 Tomorrow
"Cool" said Strawb yesterday, looking at our timetable. "We haven't any lectures before 10am!" It's cool indeed, i'll be able to lounge about tomorrow morning. Thus, i got up at 9 today, got ready, and went to my lesson at 10. My classmates and teacher were already inside. I enter the room, ready for anything, and go and sit down near Kim who whispers to me: "late night?" I look at her a bit confused and, thinking that i may look under the weather, i just smile and say that i'm fine, cheers. Two minutes later, Strawb enters the room, as sprightly as i did a few minutes ago. Just after , the lecturer gathers her belongings and leaves the room. "Where is she going?" i ask. " I dont know, whereever she wants" answers Kim, giglling. "I hardly keep myself informed about  what my lecturers do after their course!"Gulps... after their courses.....? Damn! We f***ed up again! I look at Strawb and tell her. We stare at eachother for a while and then we just burst into laughter! Firstly we bunk off a lecture, secondly we don't even do it on purpose, and finally we are lost enough to show up right in front of our teacher just before the end of the course! How sad! What a bunch of losers!
Anyway, i took advantage of this saving of time to go and phone my french uni and some relatives, in order to find a way to pay my rent. All the answers were negative and i came back, once again, empty handed. Great.
Then, i spent a 'little time' in the computer room ( positively my best friend this year...), and played a bit with Mr Pooter.
Just before going back home, i had the best news for a long time! See, we have a cinema course on wednesdays and fridays. Every wednesday we watch a movie in the audiovisual room, and every friday , we discuss that film in class. No need to say that it is my favourite course... Anyway, in the semester, we studied
"Billy Eliott", "Wild At Heart", "Bridget Jones' Diary", "Gattaka", "Edward Scissorhands", "The Full Monty", "On Being John Malkovitch", "Dirty Pretty Things", "The Talented Mr Ripley", and "American History X". So, just before leaving, i went to see 'the board', and noticed that the new set list for the second semester was pinned up. I had a look, and what did i see? *suspense* "PI" ! "Pi" is Darren Aronofsky's first film and of course, one of my cult films. Thanks God for having granted my prayers, and Ingrid Wagner ( my teacher) for having listened to my endless snide jokes about the previous set list. Anyway, i was all glad ands happy when i went back home. At night, i watched Strawb's video of her holidays in Manchester, Liverpool, and Edinburgh, and then Mathieu Kassovitz's "Assassin(s)"for the umpteenth time. As good as always....
