The following scale is used to rate the missions:

1 poor
2 below average
3 average
4 good
5 excellent

A rating of 5 is considered to be as good if not better than the original missions in Panzer Front.
Allied missions.
Title Gazala
Creator Just Hose Me Out
Briefing Race to the assistance of the infantry who are under assault from an Afrika Korps armoured column.
Synopsis A troop of Australian Stuarts is called to assist Diggers holding a waddi near Gazala. An enemy armoured column is streaming down the wadi in force.
Review Not a difficult mission but it does require skillful use of terrain and accurate rangefinding and gunery.A very good attempt at making a desert mission.
Design 4 Difficulty 3

Title Mouen
Creator Crusader
Briefing With a firefly and shermans, cover the HLI as they assault the town of Mouen.
Synopsis Very similar to 'Goodwood' but with different opponents. Pick your approach very carefully, you will not survive any mistakes.
Review Crusader's research and artwork translate into a flavour and feel which make this mission something special.
Design 5 Difficulty 5

Title Goodwood
Creator Buckethead
Briefing Just about everybody on the PanzerFront forum has a tank in this one. It's operation Goodwood and you must secure a village with your rag-tag bunch of M4/Firefly's.
Synopsis Lots of Heavy German Armour defend the village. You'll really need the 17lb for this one.
Review I loved this one. Its about time a decent mission was made for the Firefly and this mission really gives you a chance to maximize the Firefly's abilities. The terains fairly open with just enough cover to make up for your crappy armour.

Title Weewak
Creator Buckethead
Briefing Your platoon of Aussie Stuarts must protect the 'Diggers' until they take the airfield at the top of the map.
Review This one is fairly short and straight forward. You'll find the bunkers much harder to deal with than the Jap Tanks but good team work between your tanks (and lots of arty fire) will get you through. A good mission
Rating 4

Title Ruwiesat Ridge
Creator Crusader
Briefing In your Crusader, played by the Cromwell, Hold the ridge in the opening battle of El Alemein
Synopsis Along with infantry and AT guns, you have to hold the ridge against very fast jerry armor and infantry
Review Crusader has once again perfected the use of in game messages and the markings editor to give a very fine atmosphere.
Rating 4

Title Sangro River
Creator Crusader
Player Vehicle M4A1
Synopsis part of a large attacking force, you must take an Italian town away from the Nazis, You will encounter AT guns, MkIVs and a nasty suprise!
Review Crusader's best markings work yet!! The NZ Silver Fern is great! The IGMs are fine, with a humorous 'personal attack'. As for the mission itself, as long as you let your buddies and arty do the work for you, it's not too much of a challenge. Good atmosphere.
Rating 4 (3.0 without the markings)

Title Catania July '43
Creator Buckethead
Briefing Assist British infantry take and hold a village
Synopsis Your troop of Chruchills must support Shermans and infantry under ambush by German panzers.
Review The mission starts very hot with your troop being ambush by Nashorns holding the village. The start of the mission takes many attempt to get the hang of, and I've found the use of smoke shells to be essential. Bucket's use of the Hill112 map is impressive, the action never really gets close to the Hill and you never feel like you playing over old ground. The balance of forces is very good with high casualties on both sides. The design of the mission is very good with excellent markings and good igms. A nice twist is the addition of extra orders half way through the mission. This is a clever device of Bucket's to extend the mission. The only criticisms I have is that the Japanese text of the vehicle names has been left on some of the igms which I find distracting, but this is a very minor detail. Also the mission becomes a bit thin after you have cleared the first village. Perhaps the addition of reenforcements (Shermans?) and more Germans panzers could just build up the second half a bit more. However overall Bucket has crafted an excellent mission.

Title
Le Bas Perrier
Creator Adi Griff
Briefing Defend a villiage from German tank attack.
Synopsis Command Shermans from your Firefly and hold off a series of German panzer attacks.
Review A short, sharp mission. You'll need your Firefly as some of the enemy tanks are very tough. This one is not particularly difficult but requires allied tanks to be handled with decisiveness and caution.
Design 4 Difficulty 3

Title
Market Garden
Creator Adi Griff
Briefing Irish Guards' Shermans battle their way along "Hell's Highway" to link with the 82nd Airborne.
Synopsis You must clear the way for a column which is following you. Threats are varied and you must also deploy vehicles under your command to secure and hold the highway.
Review Great flavour, good research and patient design make this a very good mission. You'll find smoke shells usefull and be desperate to keep your 'blues' functioning. It is certainly a grand sight to finally watch the column cross the bridge to victory!
Design 5 (This one really conveyed the feeling of advancing with the Irish Guards while the 'brass' is telling you to hurry up.)
Difficulty 4

Title Hell on Wheels
Creator Sabrejack
Briefing Support the 4th Infantrys attack from Le Dezert to St Jean de Daye.
Synopsis Advance your Shermans while foiling ambushes by German Panthers and tank destroyers.
Review A difficult and lengthy mission containing a number of ambushes and counter-attacks in the hedgerows of Normandy.  The enemy forces are heavily equipped with Panthers, Jagdpanzers, and 88mm A/T guns so the player must advance carefully and use all the cover available.  Much sneaking about in the hedges to out flank or ambush is required to complete the mission.  There is reasonably detailed plot with the combat conditions changing as the player progresses, which gives a good impression of being in a fluid situation.  However the atmosphere is let down but a couple of over looked details.  The first four green tanks are all named B1 and the reporting friendly units name is often obscured in the IGMs making it difficult to tell who the message is from.  However the markings for the 12th Armored Division are excellent.  Overall a very enjoyable mission.

Soviet missions
Title Tiger Hunt
Creator Kizhevatov
Briefing A hasty surprise attack on a German heavy tank unit.
Synopsis You command a troop of mixed Soviet tanks from your T34/85 and must attack a Tiger tank marshalling area while making sure no enemy forces escape through you lines.
Review You have the only tank in the force with an 85mm gun, so you are the real teeth of the Soviet force. Stay alert! The terrain is cluttered, visibility is poor and the enemy is cunning. Read and follow the ingame messages.
Design 4 Difficulty 5

Title Counter Attack 43
Creator Buckethead
Briefing German tigers and panthers are breaking through at Kursk.
Review You command a group of SU85 tank destroyers, and must ambush the German heavy tanks, and prevent them capturing a Russian village. The starting position is superb on this mission, as you can use buildings/ terrain to hide your SU85's and nervously wait to surprise the German tanks. This mission has plenty of atmosphere, and the enemy are dangerous, but not invulnerable, a good mission for the more tactically minded player!
Rating 5, it's a very good mission, that puts some of the original Soviet missions in PF to shame.

Title Winter War
Creator Just Hose Me Out
Briefing Capture and hold the villiage and supply centre to allow another armoured column to move through.
Synopsis You command a troop of IS2s. Capture a town and its surrounding area, then hold against a very nasty German counterattack.
Review This is a good match. IS2 versus Panther means you will need to take great care tactically. The Soviet army had its act together in 1944 and your infantry and artillery support reflect this very nicely. A short, sharp, well designed mission.
Design 4 Difficulty 3

Title No Step Back
Creator Crusader
Briefing Lead a troop of KV1s in a spoiler attack against Army Group North
Synopsis: Advance, and keep advancing. Destroy all enemies you meet. Though you can let the Germans come to you, or out maneuvre them
Review This mission is another one of the series of actions fought at the Dubissa River. This one pits you against what finally destroyed the Soviet Assault. The KV1 is a tough juggernaught but don't get complacent. The atmosphere is very good in this mission with clever in game messages.
Design 4 Difficulty 4

Title Swansong
Creator Buckethead
Synopsis Eliminate top Hitlerites escaping from Berlin in Tiger2's and Panthers.
Review An Excellent and tough mission. If you get hit you die, and the Germans also win if they escape off the map. This requires tactical positioning and good management of your 'blues'. Very nice tense atmosphere, as it's a race against time to get into an ambush position, and even the Red air force turns up, which helps in spotting the enemy positions. Very satisfying when completed!
Rating 5

Title Bagration 44
Creator Buckethead/jagdbucket
Synopsis Fight West towards Minsk over open Steppes.
Review So long as you stick to the main attack force, and follow their lead, (particularly Crusader!) this is a good mission, however on my first few go's I just zoomed off in the wrong direction, and missed out on most of the action!
This is a nice big battle, and reminded me a bit of Poteau for some reason!
Rating 4 (it's very nicely constructed, so long as you stick with the Greens)

Title Kharkov 42
Creator Jagdbucket
Player Vehicle KV-1
Briefing Street fighting at its best. You'll have plenty of targets and nasty suprises ahead of you as you try to stop the Germans attacking you from several directions.
Review One of Bucket's early missions, this one stands the test of time A good atmosphere. This mission holds a nasty suprise around almost every other corner, and presents a solid challenge--make sure that you use your buddies.
Rating 4

Title
Prohkorovka
Creator
Jagdbucket
Player Vehicle SU-152
Briefing The SU-152 makes it's first appearance for the Soviets during the definitive clash of the Kursk Battle. You'll have targets galore during this open field mission.
Review A solid mission, from your opening charge to the 'plot twist' which will force you to make a difficult decision. A fine atmosphere with more great IGMs which will leave you smiling. Waves upon waves of Jerry tanks to brew up. As for difficulty, the big 152mm on the SU-152 makes things a tad easy, it's kind of nice to be able to punch thru a Tiger's frontal armor at 1200m. Another in a long line of good missions from Bucket

German missions
Title Elbe River 1945
Creator Kizhevaztov
Briefing With your Jagdpanther and Nashornes, cover the retreating infantry and prevent the Americans crossing the river.
Synopsis There is a surprise in this one. You'll definately need your 88mm L71 to get through this mission.
Review Your armour won't be enough in this one. Use the terrain and watch out in all directions for surprises. A very good mission.
Design 4 Difficulty 4

Title Ambush
Creator Crusader
Briefing Ambush Guards Armoured with a troop of Jagdpanthers
Synopsis Kill Churchills, avoid Fireflys and Typhoons.
Review Crusader was sneaky in his plot of enemy tank movement, savage in his allocation of air support and very classy in his drawing of Guards Armoured markings. A quick and dirty mission where you will need speed, armour and vigilance to survive.
Rating 4

Title Debut at Coumont
Creator Sabrejack
Briefing Lead three Jagdpanthers to ambush Guards Armoured. (same mission as Crusader's 'Ambush', but the style is completely different)
Synopsis Your orders make this mission a hit and run. Bring your surviving buddies to the regrouping point after destroying your target to win.
Review There is a nasty surprise in store so pick your approach carefully. You will need to be thorough and cautious in this one.
Design 4 Difficulty 4

Title Pocket Escape
Creator Crusader
Briefing Your Panther must lead a Stug III, a Pzkpfw IV and a halftrack out of the rapidly closing noose of the Falaise Pocket.
Synopsis Shermans are closing in from just about everywhere so you'll have to make a quick, decisive plan and stick to it!
Review This one offers plenty of tactical scope and, I'm sure, will be playable again and again. Its tough, and you'll need the Panther's excellent gun and speed.
Design 5 Difficulty 4 (Crusader has overcome the problem of making a challenging mission for the dreaded Panther)

Title Vienna Bridgehead
Creator Sabrejack
Briefing Hold a secure bridgehead against the Soviets while the remnants of 2nd SS Panzer division escape.
Synopsis Your Panthers and Mk.IV need to be well deployed to handle what the Russians throw at you. As usual, the direction of the Russian attacks keeps changing rapidly. Think quickly and follow your orders as you receive them.
Review There are some lovely touches in this one, such as a cameo appearance by Eric Barkmann, an order to go out and hunt down a particular Russian tank and a frantic final engagement.
Design 5 Difficulty 3 (I think it is a great mission, but I didn't find it as difficult as I had expected))
Post World War Two
Title The Yalu River
Creator Sabrejack
Briefing Cover a fighting withdrawal with your Pershing. Chinese T34s are swarming all over your position.
Synopsis You command 4 tanks which are trying to 'bug out' of a trap while also attempting to protect the fleeing infantry. This one uses the Neva River map and the weather is snowy.
Review This is the first fighting withdrawal mission to date and is brilliantly designed. The opponent is tough and numerous and you have options as to how you will execute your task.
Design 5 Difficulty 4 (yes, this one is definately something special)

Mission Golan Border '64
Creator Sabrejack
Briefing Lead your armoured patrol home after a hard day's fighting.
Synopsis 5 Israeli Supershermans (played by fireflys) must cross open ground in the face of repeated arab armoured attacks.
Review Sabrejack has used his Yiddish dictionary well to add flavour to this quick and dirty mission by filling it with very atmospheric in-game messages.
