The new next generation Panzer Front game, entitled Panzer Front Ausf B (German for type 2) has been released in Japan.
This picture shows the quality of and level of detail in the games tanks.
A new touch is the indicator in the bottom left which shows which way your looking, and which direction the turret is facing and possibly a speed indicator too on the left of the compass. The terrain looks great and look at the fountain of dust from a stray shell!
A lovely Cammo job on the British tanks!
The map screen in close up. That's a lot of blue units to order around. Including infantry, which means there could be more emphasis placed on actually winning the ground, and not just blowing up tanks.
The map screen is nicely familiar, but something new, is that the supply point is no longer a static square. It is now a mobile part of your force, and you can take it with you. The blue section with the yellow X may very well be it
Another view of the map screen showing the scale of the game.
The binocular view as had a hollywood makeover too.
This picture shows an 88mm anti tank gun in a nice sandbag wall. but also it seems to show an anti tank position as the turret indicator in the bottom left corner. which means that there may be quite a lot of flexibility over which type of unit you control in a mission. Maybe more than one?
Hooray! The Italians have put in an appearance! Not sure who's side they'll be on yet though.. Nice detail you can see here though is crew members in the turrets.
* Crew members can become injured and killed.

*Crew can be ordered to bail out.

* Huge campaign maps, with hills and valleys.

*Minefields.

*Infantry have anti tank weapons.

*Artillery strikes can still be called in.

*Improved shooting physics.

*As yet no online play.
