| A pronouns that emphasizes another pronoun or a noun is intensive. |

| 1. Two bucks says that he did not make that himself. 2. I myself decided not to go to the zoo that day. 2. Harriet painted the fence this morning all by herself. |
| A trick to deciding whether a pronoun is reflexive or intesive is to take it out of the sentence and see if the meaning is changed. If it is not, then you have yourself an intensive noun.. |
