Josh's World
Hey, welcome to the world of me, Josh.  This site is dedicated to the many great things I love in life like, family, school, church, politics, etc.  Currently I am a freshman at Brigham Young University majoring in Economics.  I just returned from Aberdeen Maryland where I was at school to become a Light Armored Vehicle or "LAV" mechanic for the Marine Corps Reserve.  I worked hard and learned a lot, as a result I graduated #1 in my class and recieved a meritorious promotion to Lance Corporal!  Now I am finished with my formal military training and belong to Charlie company, Light Armored Recon Battalion, Marine Corps Force Reserve located in Riverton Utah. Now I am going to take two years of leave from school and the Marine Corps to serve a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in the Boston Massachusetts Mission.  I begin January 2nd!  I hope you like this site, tell your friends, thanks.

THE MISSION
In October I recieved a call to serve a Mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in the Boston Massachusetts mission.  I will serve for a period of 2 years on a full time basis.  Every day me and my assigned companion will give service and teach the message of Jesus Christ and his gospel of atonement to the people of Massachusetts.  I absolutely can't wait.  I am very excited to get busy!

The BYU Cougars are hot once again this year.  The Football team was undefeated for most the season and spent many weeks on the polls in the top 10.  Thanks mostly to the outstanding performances by star quarterback Brandon "The Domanator" Doman and hard charger (literally) running back Luke Staley, this years Doak Walker award winner.  Not to mention superb supporting play by reciever Reno Mahe.  Both Staley and Doman have been serious contenders for the Heismann this year.  Staley may very well win it next year based on his pattern of success the past two years.  This year alone, he averaged about 8 yards per carry.  Unfortunately their second to last regular season game against Mississippi State produced a broken leg for Luke.  Without the aid of their dangerous running back they lost the next weekend at a very energized Hawaii.  The cougars finished off the regular season at #17 and are set to play Louisville in the Liberty Bowl.
