Panther Claw Lair OOC Rules

LAIR TIME IS US MOUNTAIN TIME ZONE.

This is not a Panther Lair, but an Outlaw Lair dominated by Panthers.

This is a Gorean Role-Playing Room, based upon the imaginary planet Gor described in the Science Fiction novels of John Norman.  This is not a Gorean Lifestyle Room.  Unwelcome solicitation for Real Time Interaction is FORBIDDEN!  People who lose sight of the fact that this is a Roleplaying Game played by Earth people for entertainment - you are not welcome here.

NPC Guards can and will cage those who attempt to Violate the Entrance Rules, and such captures will be valid all over Gor.

The Leader/Room Controller is the final authority on all issues regarding valid Role-Play.  Posted rules are only an attempt to quantify valid Role-Play and cannot anticipate every possible situation that might arise.  Therefore, to stop disruption and facilitate roleplay, the Leader may make on-the-spot decisions as to what is or is not valid Role-Play, so that the roleplay may continue for all.  These decisions are binding on all in the Lair, and there is no appeal.  These decisions will be guided by trying to use the closest applicable rule and common sense.  In the case of disagreements about proper roleplay that do not reach the disruption stage, an appeal may be considered.  All roleplay must be consistent with the pulldowns and Lair Area Descriptions.

In general, Q is not Gor, with some exceptions.  Q is Gor when the conversants are in the same room, as a workaround for whispering.  Q is Gor when hunting, as a workaround for secret hand communication to coordinate between hunters.  Q is Gor when used as a workaround for exchange of M/messengers between Members and those who cannot come to the Lair.

No slave/captive escape or death may occur when there are no Panther Members present to prevent it.  Any escape/death is illegal unless a script has been posted to our Message Board and been ruled valid by the Room Controller.

No telepathy.  If you must post your thoughts about other people, post them in PM to yourself.  You may post your thoughts as justification for your actions, or to define your character's mood.  Posts such as "*thinks you're a moron*" will be considered to have been spoken aloud.

In character whispers are permitted without asking permission, assuming you are physically close enough to whisper.  Whispers can be reposted to others who are near enough to have heard it.  Improper whispers can be copied and reposted as PM to all.
