Panther Claw Lair Panther Rules

These are the complete Laws.  If it isn't written in clear language on the Entrance Page (or on linked pages), it is not Law in our Lair.  Period.  While we acknowledge the validity of Laws of other Homes (and will always attempt to abide by them, as they are written and posted) - nobody else's laws rules or traditionns carry any weight in this Lair, beyond how they apply to actions of our Members in other Homes.  Nobody else but the Leader will interpret how/if the Laws apply to a given situation.

Every M/member is expected to know all of the rules and to live by them.  They are your Panther Codes - they are not just something you do when the Leader is around to make you do it her way.  M/members have a duty to inform guests of the rules and to maintain them in the Leader's absence.  Keeping up on the Message Wall and training to improve fighting abilities are mandatory!

No gaming or dualling.  If you are caught somewhere else, honor it.  Your character can go in disguise with your same (or similar) avi, but if something happens to you, it does.  Outsiders (including slaves and potential members) are presumed to have legally arrived in the Forest near the Lair unless evidence is presented otherwise.  This evidence will be evaluated by the Leader.  After a new M/member has been a M/member for 10 days, no claims of previous gaming or ownership will be considered.

In general, Q is not Gor, with some exceptions.  Q is Gor when the conversants are in the same room, as a workaround for whispering.  Q is Gor when hunting, as a workaround for secret hand communication to coordinate between hunters.  Q is Gor when used as a workaround for exchange of M/messengers between Members and those who cannot come to the Lair.

In dealing with disputes with Outsiders, the Lair Leader speaks for all.  Don't argue, don't debate - just tell them to take it your Leader or post it to the Board.

Property of killed/missing/enslaved Members reverts to the Lair.  In case of death, the transfer is immediate.  In case of missing or enslaved Members, the property reverts to the Lair 7 days after the last visit to the lair by the missing/enslaved Member.  The property can be reclaimed for an additional 7 days, if the Member returns.  Captured/enslaved Members are still Members and are entitled to reclaim their Membership at the instant of escape/release.

All spontaneous combat between Members is to be hand-to-hand, with the exception of the Leader (or Panther-in-charge in the Leader's absence), who may use weapons to enforce Lair Laws or maintain order in the lair.  All sparring between members is to be done with training weapons (i.e. wood bladed spears, leather padded staffs).

There is very little difference between Panther's slaves and Panthers.
