ORGANIZE AND MAKE OUR VOICE HEARD
UNITED WE WILL BE HEARD
By law, we have rights when it comes to organizing, and we are allowed to:
1:  Attend meeting to learn about the union.
2:  Read and distribute union literature in non-work areas during non-work time.
3:  Wear union insignia in order to generate support for the union.
4:  Sign an authorization card asking that our employer recognize and bargain with us as a union.
5:  Sign petitions or file grievances about our wages, working conditions and other job issues.
6:  Ask other employees to support the union, to sign authorization cards or petitions and to file grievances.
TOGETHER WE CAN BE HEARD
By the same law, our employer legally cannot:
1:  Threaten to or actually fire, lay off, discipline, harass, transfer or reassign us because we support the union.
2:  Favor those workers who do not support the union by awarding promotions, job assignments, wage increases, improved hours and working conditions, or by applying uneven enforcement of rules.
3:  Shut down our work site or reduce benefits and privileges we already enjoy to discourage union activity.
4:  Promise us a pay increase, promotion, benefit or special favor if we oppose the union.
