Abortion
Even though showing an aborted fetus would capture the true evil of abortion, I could no stomach having it on my site. Therefore I will show the more pleasent image of a baby that is still alive and will hopefully live a friutful life.
When I was first introduced to the issue of Abortion when I was younger I did not know what to think. Ultimatly the issue rested on whether the child, or fetus was alive or not. Because I did not know if it was alive in the beggining, I stayed neutral. I soon began to develope Reagans philosophy on the issue (though I did not know it at the time because I had come to it myself). That idea is that say we don't know whether it is alive or not. Which is the lesser of two evils? Regulating a women's reproduction or killing the baby? For me that is an easy choice I would much rather a women not get rid of somthing thats "part of her own body", that have an inocent life be taken away by someone else.

As I got into Middle School my thoughts on the subject grew more towards the anti-abortion side. It is there where my studies in science gave me a better understanding of life. I learned that life is characterised by these six traits; grows& developes, has cells, has DNA, reproduces, and takes in nutrients. All of these fit into the characteristics of a child in thier mother's womb. Often times when I use this argument someone will tell me well yeah a fungus is also life. They miss the point that the fetus has human DNA which makes it human life.
