There were lots of buyers wandering around the swap meet, with cash or parts changing hands all day.  Here is a typical crowd.  Perhaps the threat of rain kept more sellers from attending, and what a mistake that was !  There were a few requests for items that are typically considered junk too.
I earned a sunburn; it was such a nice day.
It never ceases to amaze me what parts turn up.  A near perfect stock steering wheel, several sets of Campy wheels (7/8, 8/10) are common, but the metal gas filler elbow, and still with the DeTomaso factory sticker !
Recently Larry $tock announced his fuse box.  He will take your fuse box in exchange (and something like $250) and give you one he has modified to use the modern fuses, with 12 fused circuits.  This method does maintain use the the original panel, pictured left.
I took a keen look at this, as I had just received Bob Timmas famous fuse box upgrade.  On the right is what Bob supplies for less than $100, including shipping. He uses a modified Nissan fuse box with 22 separate fused circuits, and includes mounting blocks and wire extenders, and a diagram.
Curt asked what a bracket was for, and I found a car that still has the Ignition Interlock Over-ride button.
