Superbowl 2002
Long time member, Brian Bernard once again hosted the PCNC Superbowl Party.
Much activity occurs, (cars, pinball machines, slot machines, bench racing, chili contest, etc) and some say even a football game is seen.  The game is hard to miss, there is a TV in every room, and several in the garage too.  People arrive from lunchtime on, here Terry Altman brings his GT5, to show off and possibly sell.  (It did sell this day.)  A variety of cars soon fill the driveway.
Visitors scope out the various engines. Twin MagnaChargers, the Quella EFI,carbs
A rumor is that a deal is in the works, then some celibration confirms it, and this couple (lower left) appear to be the proud new owners.  More images of this car here.
Awaiting the end of the game, and more importantly the results of the pool.  Two people have been very successful in several of the pools, until the last 4 seconds, when the score change finally brings good luck to others.  I think the cars get more attention than the game.
As for the chili contest ?  Well, this year saw more entries than ever before, large pots and crockpots all over the kitchen where no electrical outlet went unused.  French bread, crackers, many cheeses, and onions were available too.  I didnt hear the results, but that night, my chili pot was empty !
