The Silver Circle
An honor bestowed upon sisters who have been in Beta Sigma Phi for 25 years, or more.

Patty did not know that we would be performing the ritual during Founder's Day---Surprise, Patty!

The End of The Year Gathering!
Our End-of-The-Year Gathering turned out to be quite an odd and interesting mixture of emotions and events!
Before our meeting and the Installation of Officers, we had a surprise for Charla. We wanted her to know how proud of her accomplishments we are---how excited we are for her---Charla is the NEW Superintendant for Gallia County Schools! After the mini celebration, we talked about our mothers and mother-in-laws (with Mother's Day being just around the corner) and we shared funny stories and sad stories---we grew closer to one another that evening. We talked about the true importance of sisterhood and how we had each been touched by Sorority.
You see, we had all been affected by another event that evening---a tornado. Five of us drove through its storms path (although, actually, only one of us was driving, the others were on their cell phones :)
the other's waiting for us to arrive had watched the twisting storm blow over the land just across the way. That evening a level 2 tornado ripped through the area---dangerously close to us---destroying homes and a roadside rest area along the highway. We felt lucky and the memory of it will stay with us for some time to come.
