| Cote d'Azur Tour 2001 |
| When we all joined Pansands we were all promised atour of some kind. We all couldn't wait, it would be so exciting. It was decided that the tour would be to the Cote d'Azur sometime in the summer. From about September 2000 everyone started saving up for teh trip in July 2001. We were all packed up, sun tan lotion, bikinis and pans! We were ready! We left on the 9th July, travelling to Macon to stop over and then the next day we carried on to 'Le Kangourou' - Frejus. Our first day in the South of France began wildly. WE had a rehersal in the hotel and all the guests came and watched. We left the hotel and went to Saint Tropez for the day. We left St Tropez and headed for Ste Maxime ( WE were a bit late though due to the fact that Heidi and Co. decided they would wander around St Tropez for a bit longer - 'Don't deny it') for our first concert. The concert was great and I think everone enjoyed it. ( Aimee and Jenny especially who enjoyed dancing to Austin Powers all evening). Next day we got up early and headed for Aquatica - a water theme park in Frejus. Great day out. We left Aquatica mid afternoon and headed for the Chateau de Cabran Vineyard..( We had lot's of fun trying to find the Vineyard). In the evening we had our Frejus Concert which was magical. Jenny managed to trip over and almost knock one of the pans out of tune. The concert was in the market square and we had a lovely crowd. Well on Friday we were supposed to go to teh botanical gardens in Nice but instead we headed for the beach and had a great time. But i'm sure that if we had gone to teh botanical Gardens we would have all had a great time. In the afternoon we all went our separate ways and went shopping round Nice. In the evening we had out Nice concert at the Forum Massena...the skaters performed some good tricks for us. Saturday's Itinerary went a bit pearshaped. Yes we did go on the Visiobulle Boat Trip around Millionaires Bay in Juan-les-Pins. We were supposed to go to Monaco in the afternoon but we all ended up in the pool and unfortuantely did not get to go. But we had a great afternoon chillin' at the hotel and because it was our last night we all went to the beach at St Rapael. And had many joys in front of the fireworks as we we had our glass of champagne and finished of our sandcastles. On Sunday we left the hotel and drove to Reims for our overnight stop. Not forgeting the amazing FLUNCH meal on the way though. That truly was the best meal I have ever tasted. |
