Around 15km west of Corfu town is
Myrtiotissa
beach. Next to famous and cosmopolitan
Glyfada beach but a
totally different place.
Myrtiotissa
is describes by some enthusiasts as the
most beautiful beach in
Europe and it exerts its own magnetic charm!
Breathtaking cliffs covered
with trees and crystal water in front, create an
image you can't easily
forget. Prefered by naturists of all ages it has
been established as
Corfu's paradise for years. Located in a
unspoiled, natural and isolated
spot is suitable for nude bathing and free
camping. Surely you will find
a part of yourself there. And as most of its
admirers do, you will come
time and again.
Myrtiotissa beach is where
relaxation and excitement
come together. A unique place!
Few tips how to get
to
Myrtiotissa :
a.Take the
green bus from the new port central station and
get down at
"Myrtiotissa"
bus stop (there is also a sign pointing the
way). Follow that
sign for about 1km and...there you are!!!
b.If you take a car make sure you park it
on the parking place
half the way down. It'll be secured, besides there
isn't enough space
for cars down. Beyond the parking place the dirt
road becomes really
steep and rough. On a bike you can get (with some
effort) all the way
down to the beach.
c.
If you take a taxi ask the price first. It
helps.
