Village
The small picturesque village is called Nerantza, It is situated by the water of Corinthian Bay. It is a quite and relaxing place, far from the hectic rhythm of a town. The winter time period less than 300 people residence the village whereas the summer time the number is well above 1000. Nerantza has been a vacation destination, mostly for Athens� inhabitants, since the 70�s. The proximity to Athens and the international airport in combination with its location, has given the village an advantage for people who are interested to combine relaxing time on the beach with daily excursions in interesting sites around. The Ancient Corinth is 15 minutes away, the Ancient Theatre of Epidaurus is 70 minutes away, Olympia is 90 minutes away, Delphi is 2 hours away, Mycenae is 60 minutes away, Athens is 70 minutes away, Loutraki is 20 minutes away.
The beach of Nerantza has been awarded with a �blue flag�, signifying its good quality. Within the village somebody can enjoy good food in the local taverns as well as good cocktails in a couple of bars at late hours by the sea. If somebody fancies nightlife there are a lot of options within 5 km distance. For higher standard restaurants, bars and casino you just have to drive 20 minutes away. |
