This is a quick challenge so everyone should be able to participate. It takes exactly 41.2 minutes (that’s 41 min 12 sec), so not much time at all. Everyone has 41.2 minutes this month, right?

Rules:
1. Someone’s birthday must occur during the fic.
2. The following words must be included: gigantic birthday cake, tumbleweed, and Occlumency.
3. Must be angst.
4. Must be written in 41.2 minutes (that’s a tribute to the 412 members that we have right now). Set a timer. You can go back and edit, but take no more than 10 min. editing (and editing is NOT required).
5. Upload your fic to the Birthday challenge folder in the challenges folder in the files section and tick the ‘send a message announcing this file’ box so that everyone will know you uploaded it. You can also send the text as a message. Additionally, fics can be posted to the Panic Parables LiveJournal community.
6. Fics must be uploaded by June 30, 2005 – we’ll vote on our fav. At the end of the challenge.
