How it Happens

Inside them something
Fell of a shelf
And shattered into a million pieces
Amplifying all ambient vibrations.
Now a thick craving fills
The hollows beneath their skin
And they just want, and breathe.
Exposed, an open wound seeking
A connection, a cure, to heal, now
Stronger still, the depths of want
Shaking now, choking, gagging on
The amplified horrors of insufficiencies. 
And yes, some give way.
