JUDY GO HOME?!

In 1995 , I saw Green Day and the Riverdales in Greenville , South Carolina. It was kind'a funny , for the first time I  actually saw families of punk rockers. Picture , "the father" with a leather jacket and leather pants walking with his green haired , leather jacket (studded) wife , with a 4 year old daughter also dressed in her rancid out-fit. It was a weird site . It was an ugly site. A huge line outside , went for blocks and blocks. All different kinds of people waited to get passed security , into the show. About thirty minutes later , I put through the metal detecter and allowed to go in. Judging by the pile of knifes and "dangerous" spike atire , you'd thought you were entering a war or something.

The show sold out , jam packed. Before these guys from Screeching Weasel came on , girls and blown-up condoms were surfed across the crowd , the ugly crowd. Probaly one of the worst Lookout Record bands (I shouldn't use that word...I think it was Yeastie Girls..) ever was played over the PA before the Riverdales were to come on. The Riverdales played an amazing set. They were awesome. Ramones , I love that band and I'd never heard or seen a group that reminded me as much of them , as the Riverdales.

Green Day played all their hits and mostly cussed , more than anything else. Billie Joe (frontman of Green Day..do I need to tell that) actually got one side of the room to say , "FUCK" and then the other side to say , "YOU". What'a riot.

Getting outta the damn place , was harder than getting in , a sea of people , flowed towards the exits. It made me sick. They could have done anything. Outside , crowds grouped together. One crowd of kids wearing Nirvana-dyed shirts , was the largest. Kids took drugs , fucked themselves up and went crazy.

Green Day , well you probaly know what they're doing , these days. The Riverdales , however  , managed to release a second record in 1997 called , Storm The Streets. It's a fun record and the sound quality is better than their self-titled. However , I like the songs on the first record , more so.

Riverdales , broke up after Storm The Streets was released . There's a been recent word of them getting back together. They're a band I'd like to see again. Keep an eye at
Ben's page (run by Simon) for more information. It ought'a be cool.

I NEED A PROZAC
            J
ay Prozac , which is worser known as the x-singer to a band called , The Grand Prixx. Has recently , put together an amazing sounding band , right-fully called The Prozacs. Leaving his high pitched , vocals behind , He is actually singing with his new band. "These are the songs The Grand Prixx did not wanna do" , said Prozac ,in refference to his new band. The Prixx flew through their songs , at light speed and by no means "together". The Prozacs are together , to say the least.  The Prozacs have just finished recording at Zing studios in Massachussets. I can't wait for someone to release this album. It's simply, amazing. It's the best thing I've heard since, the WANNA-BE's self-titled release. Check out their site , Prozacs.com. I'm looking forward to hearing the Prozacs split with the Vermin (from Ohio) , which as of now has no title. Also, look for'em on a compilation CD , which also , has no title but should be released sometime around, during or before the summer of 2003.
