It is one of the first significant moments in which the youth affirm the faith into which they were
baptized. It ties together God's act in Christ and the youth's response in faith. It reminds the youth of the power of the community in the life of faith and promises them the presence of the Holy Spirit on their journey.
Confirmation is held every other year, during the Jr. High UMYM time.
Adults from the church serve as mentors for the youth.
Confirmation will take place during the 2004/2005 school year.
