Additional witty comments (heh heh heh): Alright so it was Rocky's bday on Saturday and we went downtown to Marche's for lunch - which for me consisted of a Belgian waffle (with strawberries, ice cream and chocolate sauce of course). Afterwards we had some time to kill and Carly brought her camcorder...I don't know whose brilliant idea it was but we decided to film a "mock-umentary" and we went around asking people for their opinions on hot dog vendors in downtown Toronto. It was just TOO funny! It was as though some people had already seriously contemplated the topic, cause we got some very elaborate responses. Many were outraged when we told them that Mayor Mel was threatening to ban the sale of hot dogs by vendors due to "recent health concerns" (it's not true but who KNOWS what can happen in this crazy SARS-ified city we live in...)

On a sad note, the Leafs are right now in the process of losing miserably to the Flyers...*sigh* I wonder if I'll live to see the day we win another cup. Additional witty comments (heh heh heh): I finally saw Bollywood/Hollywood on Friday...it was Grease meets Lagaan with a little My Big Fat Greek Wedding thrown in. Laughed my ASS off at the grandmother who kept quoting Shakespeare ("Et tu, Brutus?") and was thoroughly entertained by the fact that it was shot in Toronto. Felt like a downright celebrity when I realized that a pivotal moment in the plot - when Sue and Rahul finally confess they like eachother - was filmed at Fairview Mall (LOL)

In other news, my dad FINALLY put his life at risk and let me drive with him in the car. This, as most of you realize, is a momentous occasion and deserves a major cookie bake-off (lol I'll bring 'em tomorrow hopefully)

Additional witty comments (heh heh heh): So our beautiful truck got broken into last night, along with most of the other cars in our townhouse complex's garage...these idiots just came in, smashed some windows, stole what few pennies worth of stuff there was in the cars, and left. *Sigh* it would be naive to think that the risk of that happening wasn't there before yesterday, but I guess it's not something you figure will happen to you - until it does. Anyway while they're fixing it up the insurance company's given us this BUTT-ugly rental car...it's a Honda Accord or something, I don't even care what it is actually cause it's just so god-awful. It's got the most boring color, cheap-looking design, and crappy features I've ever seen on/in a car. And I'm not even allowed to drive it. Hmph. Communists. (lol)

Meanwhile we picked the new execs for Enigma (oh hey, is this supposed to be a secret? Oh well, it's not like anyone important reads th - I mean SHHHHH EVERYone!!)...which means that, for this issue at least, I won't have to run after all 17 writers/monkeys to get their topic selections. VERY relieving. I'm quite confident that Cindy will do a kick-ass job. Possibly better than - no let's just leave it at "a good job". :D
