In Memory of Robert Koga
I was saddened to hear of the passing of Robert Koga. Bob was my sensei, mentor, and friend. Bob taught me many arrest control, baton, and self defense techniques, but Bob also taught me to be a better officer and person. Bob lost his battle with Mesothelioma on September 8, 2013. He was 83 years old. I was always inspired after training with Bob, and I am going to miss training with him. He will live on through his students, and I will try to pass on what I learned to others. Rest in Peace Bob.
