1/31/02: Ok so finally I have some good news. I was reading the Casco Bay Weekly as I due ever thursday when I find an article about some guy who lives in Portland who claims to have been abducted, and it basically inspired him to write music. He just released an album called Spaceship to the Rescue well the person writting the review of it theorises that he came up with the abduction story which is atypical just to sell records. What ever the case its the first interesting news I have had to report in a long time.

1/28/02: Again from the not so strange category... I was talking to someone I work with and she said that for the past few days she has been recieving phone calls saying that some drunk man claiming to be from her residence has been calling and leaveing obscene messages late at night. She said it could not have been her husband because she had known where he was at those times, but the person pranking claim to be him. So not really paranormal but certainly one of the oddest pranks I've heard of around her at least.

And now for news that results from staying up late, thinking about a sociology project and trying to reach new levels of inebriation. I was thinking I was going to do a project about my trip to Montreal as a different cultural experience for 7 kids from different backgrounds of American life. I was out my window smoking when I thought of this and I looked down to spot a pattern in the snow that looked like a map of the United States and Canada. Kinda creepy maybe its a sign...

1/23/01: Again nothing special is in store for you in this update. I was talking to this kid in a class of mine and we began talking about music, he said he played bass, and before I asked him what kind of bass he played, t just popped into my head that he played an Ibanez Five string (which happens to be my favorite type of bass), sure enough I asked him and that was what he plays. Am I a clairvoyant now? I won't jumped to conclusions.

On a slightly cooler note in the same class my teacher, a person who has admitted to not being a religious person, said that while in an Indian resteraunt in New York, he saw this man who recognized this one man as a relatively famous yoga master. Well he said that this man literally glowed, like he was seeing this mans Aura. This just happened to be a discussion on Aura's as used in poetry by Petrarch, so thats why it came up.

1/18/02: Well not much has happened since the last update, hence the lack of updates. Though there was one strange event that happened, though it has been basically explained as nothing paranormal its still worth mentioning. I was coming home from Portland in a really bad snow storm, as I go toward Brunswick, not too far from the Naval Air Station I saw three bright flash consume the sky. These flash originated in the area of the Air Station. I asked my father about this a come to find out lightning can be present in a snow, which I had thought could not happen, mostly because I have never seen it. Even so my mom didn't seem to except the explanaiton that it was mere lightning. In other news I recently added an original essay on Crop Circles, to my Essay Section it is quite good I might add.

1/4/02: Well the new year is here I hope everyone had a great New Years Eve, I spent mine hopping bars in Montreal, that was pretty cool. Theres basically nothing exciting going on right now, I just added the tab for Wonder Boy by Tenacious D.

12/18/01: For those of you wondering where I got the name Merkaba and what it means, I found a website all about Merkaba that would help explain it, though you could also read Bob Frissels Nothing in this Book is True but its Exactly How Things Are, Which I highly recommend its an intersting book.

12/10/01: Listening to a radio program this morning I found out that Ted Kennedy called up on so radio talkshow and was talking about the anti-terrorism bill. While commenting on it he said that their had been 19 deaths related to anthrax, but before that the numbers we all had been getting was 5. The people on the radio program I was listening to blew it off as an error and basically called him an idiot, but is that the case. Perhaps there really was more like 19 deaths perhaps even more, perhaps this is the beginning of information leaking out that the government is trying to keep hidden about 9/11.

12/6/01: I found a new website this is a website that investigates cases of hauntings in Maine. I was very excited to find this site seeing as it is in Maine, something that really applys to this site. The name is Maine Investigators of the Unknown check it out.
While on this site I found pictures of small orbs at haunting sites. This made be stop and think, I recall back in middle school seeing small orbs in class every so often. I though it was an optical illusions caused by stress or something, but perhaps it was some sort of ghost thing, the school, the old Brunswick highschool, is said to be hauted.

12/5/01: Not very paramormal but I thought this was strange:
I was outside my house last and some dogs up the street were barking and I could hear the echo of their barking far in the distance. The strange thing is that I have never before heard an echo produced from their barking, its like there was something acoustically different with the atmosphere. Perhaps a large UFO mothership entered our atomosphere? It was a cloudy night I couldnt see anything.

I am also happy to anounce that this has been listed on yahoo. Maybe now I ll be addressing people with the news as opposed to humouring my self. I won't hold my breath.
