Never Again
~I dont know when we fell apart
The love we had was like a work of art
I used to see heaven in your eyes
Now angels are falling from your skies
Things we said, were so wrong
And I havent held you for so long
My foolish pride turns me inside
Why did we tell all those lies?
You can reach for the phone
You dont have to be alone~

The young blonde looked outside at the snow falling and sighed to herself, miserably. Christmas was rapidly approaching and the usual excitement and yearn for it to come, just wasnt there this year. Maybe because the only person she wanted to spend it with wouldnt be there this time. She closed her eyes, trying to block the painful memories that were forever etched into her mind. But no matter how hard she tried, she knew the hurtful words they had thrown each others way wouldnt so easily be forgotten.

~*Flashback*~

So, what exactly are you trying to say???! That I dont know why Im upset!? Is that it? Because, if so, you have no clue how wrong you are. Im so sick of you always jumping to conclusions. He shook his head. Im not the one jumping to conclusions, Lexi.. I dont get why youre getting so worked up over nothing. She sighed. Thats just it! I hate this I dont care attitude! What has been going on with you lately? And dont you dare say its all the stress and strain of the tour, because that excuse has gotten old. He rolled his eyes. Whatever. She shook her head. You know what? I think its time we had a little break.

A break?! WHY?! he asked, increduously. She sighed. Because. Look whats happening to us. We dont even know why we fight anymore Just a break. I I think its for the best.

~*Outside the winter seems so cold
Your heart is frozen like the snow
And theres no one home
To keep you safe and warm
Your eyes are red
Because youve cried
You fell asleep by the fireside
But theres one thing you should know
On this Christmas baby,
You dont have to be alone*~

She sighed as she remembered, how long ago their agreement to take time apart from each other had been. At least 4 months, now. She missed him. More than she ever thought she would. She longed for him to hold her at night and sing her softly to sleep and tell her about all the crazy things the other guys had done that day

Hey, man. Why dont you just call her? You know you want to, so go for it. JC looked over at his young friend sighed. Justin, Im afraid its not that easy. Alexandra probably moved on a long time ago and found someone new Chris looked up. You dont know that. Call her up. Give it a try. JC sighed. Maybe later. Lance rolled his eyes. Do it now. Were almost home wouldnt it be nice to have her waiting for you like old times? JC nodded, remembering how he always raced to see her smiling face and pulling her into his arms.

Yeah, is Alex there? He listened for a moment, before sighing to himself. Alright. Thanks. He hung up, looking slightly confused and very disappointed. Well? Justin asked curiously. He shook his head. Well, shes not there Hey! Jake! He ran up to the front of the bus to talk to him for a minute before coming back and grabbing his stuff. Theres been a little detour before home. I have to stop off somewhere. Joey looked at him. Alex? JC nodded. Ive gotta get her back. Justin clapped his shoulder. Thats the spirit, man!

~*I have only one wish on my list
For me and you to be the perfect gift
Theres nothing colder than an empty heart
And holidays are never meant to be alone
The smiles we gave when our hearts were safe
By each others love and warmth
That subsided now, happiness around
If I could only find a way to your heart*~

She snuggled deeper within the blankets for warmth, as the fire crackled in the backround. A few minutes later, she heard a soft knock on the door. She yawned, assuming it was Micheal, bringing more firewood to make sure she didnt freeze to death. Come in. She rubbed her eyes and sat up. Just put it in the corner, like usual.

Um, put what in the corner? She whirled around and saw JC standing there. JC what are you doing here? He sighed. I had to talk to you. So I called your house and they said you werent there, so I figured youd be here, and you are and She interrupted. Youre rambling. He chuckled, nervously. I do that a lot, dont I?

She smiled. Why are you here, Jace? He sighed. Because. I cant stand it anymore, Allie. I love you and I need you. And Im just sorry, I didnt have enough guts to come tell you that sooner. She sighed and motioned him over. She put her arms around his neck and hugged him. I love you too. He smiled and pulled away and leaned down for a kiss. She kissed him back, knowing that the only thing she wanted for Christmas was him, and she had finally gotten him back. And now that she did, she wasnt going to let him go.

The End!
