Justin was smiling so brightly that JC was thinking he would be blinded. Everything had finally worked out for them. Char and Justin were getting married and then would go back to Justin's kingdom while JC and Alex's wedding was set for next week. He smiled to himself when he looked at Alex behind Char. He wouldn't have his life any other way. As the ceremony ended and Justin and Char walked back down the aisle, JC moved closer to Alex.
"That was beautiful," she commented as they went outside to the reception. "Not more beautiful than the person next to me," replied JC. She laughed and lightly hit his shoulder. "That was bad." JC shrugged. "It's true though. I can't wait till this time next week. It's going to be the best day of my life."
Alex smiled. "Same here."
"Alex!" shouted Dei. "Come on, Char is going to throw her bouquet!" Alex groaned and left JC to go stand next to her friends. "I can't believe that I'm doing this," she muttered. Dei laughed. "Well, believe it because you are."
As the bouquet was thrown into the air, Alex made a blind reach for it, not prepared for the feeling of soft lace within her hands. She stared in disbelief at the bouquet before she grinned and walked over to JC. "Think this is a sign?" she asked as JC wrapped his arms around her.
"Looks like one to me, but who am I to mess with fate?" She laughed and they kissed, giving in to all of the feelings of love that they held for one another. Alex smiled against his soft lips. In a time of magic and illusions, her heart, mind and soul were bonded to another's.
