| "What is your major malfunction, numbnuts?!!!" Chloe rolled her eyes. "Hayden, shut up. You're retarded." JC laughed. "That was a funny movie language was a bit vulgar, but hey. It's how it was." Chloe nodded. "Yeah. Well, boys. I am tired out. And I have to work tomorrow. Blecccch." JC sighed. "Yeah, me too. Recording. Fun stuff." She laughed. "Well. You kids are more than welcome to sleep here, if you don't feel like leaving." Hayden grinned. "Ah, thanks, kid. I'm too worn out to even move. What about you JC? You wanna chill?" He shrugged. "Sure. I'll just have to go home before going in tomorrow. Shouldn't be a thing." Chloe nodded. "Ok, then. Hayden, why don't you show him where the guest rooms, are? I'm gonna go lock up and set the alarm." Hayden nodded and saluted. "Sir, yes, sir!" Chloe grinned evilly. "Sir, WHAT? Were you about to call me an asshole?!" JC looked at her and shook his head. "Chlo', go lock the doors. Hayden, come on. You two are freaking me out. That movie messes with your mind." Chloe threw her head back and laughed, as she made her way to set the alarm. Hayden chuckled. "So. What made you change your mind about her?" JC shrugged. "I felt bad. I'm not usually so quick to judge people. I just realized that maybe she wasn't what I was expecting. And she wasn't. She's really an awesome girl." Hayden nodded. "Yep, that's my best friend, you're dealing with. Good luck." JC looked at him confused. "What?" Hayden grinned. "Don't fall in love with her. Just a fair warning. When it comes to love, she's all screwed up in the head, I promise you. Don't fall." He smiled. "Night." JC watched the younger man with confusion, before walking to the window. He frowned, as he saw it begin to rain. He stripped down to his undershirt and boxers, and walked to the window once again, the rain drawing him to be its observer. He squinted, as he noticed Chloe, standing in the middle of the downpour. He watched, as she began to swirl around in the rain, doing some kind of ritualistic looking dance. Awed at the graceful way she almost floated over the road, he stepped out onto the small balcony to see more clearly. He paid little attention to the rain, but watched her dance to an unsung tune. Smiling to himself, he went back inside, and fell asleep. "Morning, pumpkin." Hayden kissed his friend on the top of her head, before sitting down to read the paper. She grinned. "Hi, hunny. Is JC up yet? I don't want him to be late." Hayden shrugged. "I didn't go check." She sighed. "Lazy bum." She stood and walked upstairs and knocked lightly on JC's door. "JC?" He opened the door, and smiled, tiredly. She grinned. "I thought I should see if you were up." He nodded. "I'm up. Thanks." She nodded. "Come on down, when you're ready. Tobey made some breakfast, so it's definitely something you shouldn't miss." He nodded, and watched her start to go. "Wait." She turned around, perplexed. "Mm?" He scratched his chin. "Were you outside in the rain last night?" She nodded, slowly. "You saw?" He nodded. "Yeah that was a really cool dance, you did." She smiled. "It's Yuna's sending dance from Final Fantasy 10 me, Hayden, and my brother are addicted. The dance is just so cool, so I learned how to do it. And whenever it rains, I like to go do it" He nodded. "It was awesome." She smiled. "Thanks. Hurry up now Hayden'll eat your plate, I promise." He smiled. "Right. I'm coming." Tobey grinned. "My world famous eggs, that miss Chloe adores so much, and my scrumptious pancakes that Hayden lives for. Eat up, kids. JC, what can I get for you?" JC smiled, sitting down. "A cup of coffee, would be great." Tobey nodded, while Hayden smacked him. "Dude. Don't you eat? This is the best stuff you'll ever get made! Tobey learned from his momma, didn't you, buddy?" Tobey laughed, shaking his head. "Shut up, Hayden. Eat." Hayden grinned. "You are a little on the scrawny side, sir." Chloe laughed. "Hayden, as if you have room to talk. You claim you have a six pack. I don't even see a solid two." Hayden lifted his shirt, and looked down at his stomach. "What are you talking about? I'm dead sexy!!" JC laughed, and Tobey rolled his eyes. "Sure ya are, Hayd. Now, eat, Mr. Hot and Sexy." Chloe stood. "I've gotta get going. I'll catch up with everyone later, ok?" Tobey nodded. "Will you be home for dinner?" She shrugged. "I'm not sure. I'll give you a call, though." She kissed her brother and Hayden on the cheek, before smiling at JC. "Do you want a ride to your house?" He nodded, and stood. "Please." She nodded. "Let's go." JC nodded and waved to the boys, and followed Chloe out. Chloe grinned as she pulled up to his house. "My brother and Hayden like you. They think you rock." He laughed. "Wait, till they meet the others, eh?" She nodded. "That'd be funny. Chris and Hayden would hit it off, great. We'll have to keep them in their right minds about their sexuality." JC laughed. "Yeah. Well, thanks, for everything. I'll see you in a bit?" She nodded. "See you." He watched her drive off and smiled to himself, before walking inside. Seven |
