"Tonight I'll make your dreams come true, but don't confuse this fire with romance, For I will not remember you- you are just another tango to dance..."-Linda Eder

"I'm telling you, Hay, I'm going to kill myself." Hayden sighed at his friend on the other line. "Chlo'. Enough of that talk, for one. And two, you've gotta get over it. She's not going away anytime soon. You have to learn to deal." She sighed. "I just don't get why they don't see right through her, that's all I mean, I can, because I used to be like her." Hayden sighed at the other end. "No. That is where you're wrong. You were never like her sure you might've strung guys around, but it wasn't just to have them. You were looking for love a relationship she's just looking for a one-nighter, that's all. And I don't want to hear you comparing yourself to her, you got me?" Chloe sighed. "Yeah." He yawned. "Where is everyone, anyhow?" Chloe leaned back against the headboard of her bed. "At soundcheck I said I'd be down later."

"So. Let's change the subject, shall we? When are you due in Philadelphia?" Chloe bit her lip. "Probably in a few weeks" He nodded to himself. "Excellent. Janaye is so excited about seeing you. You have no idea. Mom and Dad are pretty thrilled, too. You know they want you to come over for dinner, yah?" She smiled. "Alrighty. I'm looking forward to it." Hayden started to speak again, when a knock interrupted her thoughts. "Hayden, hold on a sec, ok?"

"Who's there?"
"Chlo', it's me, open up." She sighed. "Hayden, I've gotta go. I'll call you tomorrow, ok?" He smiled. "Ok, Chlo'. Luv ya." She smiled. "Love you too, kid." She hung up the phone, then walked over and opened the door. She looked down, as she saw JC standing there. "Can I help you with something?" He shrugged. "Can I come in?" She shrugged. "Cynda's not here." He sighed. "Dammit, Chloe. We need to talk."  She sighed and sat on the bed. "About?" He groaned. "You're not going to make this easy, are you?" She looked away, not saying anything. He frowned. "Chloe, I'm sorry. I didn't mean what I said, ok?" She sighed. "JC. Don't worry about it. It doesn't matter, anyway." He frowned. "Yeah, it does, actually. Now, please? I don't want things to be tense or bad between us." She sighed. "It's not, ok? Don't you have a show to do?" He nodded. "Yeah, but I came up to get you."

She stood up. "Fine. Let's go then." He frowned, but followed her out into the hallway. "Chloe" She shook her head. "Don't, ok? Let's just go." He nodded, reluctantly, following her downstairs to where the others awaited to be taken back to the  arena. She smiled at the others, and slid into the car next to Melanie. The other girl smiled. "Hey Chloe. We missed you at soundcheck." Chloe forced a smile. "Sorry, I was really tired." Melanie nodded. "I understand. Next time, right? Cynda was talking about maybe going shopping. I want you to come." Chloe nodded. "We'll see." Cynda nodded, jumping into the car. "Yeah, Chloe. It'll be fun. Come with us." She smiled sweetly. Chloe nodded. "Like I said, we'll see." She grinned as Chris slid in across from her, crossing his eyes.

JC slid in next, eyes begging for her to forgive him. She sighed and nodded, kicking at him. He grinned and winked, before sticking his tongue out at Melanie.

Cynda glared at the two's exchange, and glanced down at Chloe's bag, which contained her notebooks, and laptop, which she carried everywhere. Grinning to herself, she settled back in her seat, preparing for her next course of action. JC would be hers in no time.

"You ever been to a show?" Chloe looked over at her friend and shook her head. "No..." Melanie sighed. "Well, it's spectacular." Chloe nodded. "Can't wait." She pulled out her laptop, and set everything up, as the lights went down in the arena.

Chloe found herself not getting ANY work done. She was amazed by the guys ability to rock the crowd to the core. They knew how to get the whole place hyped up and dancing. The screaming girls were a bit extreme, but otherwise, she was captivated. Each had their own dancing style, despite the fact their moves were exactly the same, as well as their technique to charm the girls. Little heartbreakers, they were. Justin was completely into his moves, every slick jut and turn, he juiced it up with pure charm. He flashed his million dollar smile, every now and then, and when he did, boy did they scream. Chris's antics were a bit on the verge of psychotic, but everyone loved that about him. Joey, with his pure teddy bear appeal, shmoozed up the big screen whenever the camera panned to him. Lance, the complete opposite of all the others, was a bit more laid back in his moves, more shy. JC, too into the music, did the dance moves flawlessly, but didn't shmooze it up like the others. He didn't have to. The girls went wild, when he simply smiled. And what a smile it was.

She shook her head, as she gathered up her things, following Melanie backstage. She grinned at the guys as they sighed, exhausted. Chris was the first to take notice of her and grinned, planting a kiss on her cheek. "Well. What's the verdict, Ms. Maguire? Did you enjoy?" She nodded. "I certainly did. In fact, I couldn't even get any work done."

"SLACKER!" She whirled around and frowned at Joey. "Shut up." He grinned, hugging her. "Glad you like it, Spidergirl." She looked at him strangely. "Ok Anyhow. I did like it. Good job."

"Ahhhhhh!" Chloe turned curiously just in time to see Cynda jump into Justin's arms. "You guys were SOOOO good!!!! Everyone absolutely LOVED it!!!" Chloe rolled her eyes, as she hugged Justin tightly. Justin grinned, setting her down. "Well, we're glad you liked it." She nodded, and jumped down, before lunging at JC. "You DO know that you have an amazing voice, don't you?" He smiled, looking down. "Geeze, Cynda. Make a guy blush, why don't you?" She squealed before kissing his cheek and jumping down. JC met Chloe's eyes and saw her raise her eyebrows, before looking away. Eyes dark, she coughed. "It's late. We should go." Walking away, she felt his eyes on her, and she frowned, heading out to the waiting cars.
