| (next day) Katie awoke from a peaceful, dreamless sleep. She got up and saw it was already 11:30. She yawned and called Ali. Hey! Wanna come sun with me? She laughed. You really like him, dont you? Well, just come over, k? Ok. Bye. She changed into her suit and threw on a pair of cut-off shorts and a tank top and put her hair up into a ponytail and put on sunglasses. She looked around for her black sandals. She slipped them on and waited till Ali finally came over. Hey! Ali smiled happily. Howdy! Ready? Ali nodded cheerfully. Yep! They walked downstairs, where they saw the guys come running in. Ali looked amused. Well, looks like theyre back and with a million fans, as well. Katie nodded. Guess so. Cmon, lets just go. Ali looked at her. Arent ya gonna say hi? Katie shook her head. Wasnt planning on it. Ali gave her a look. K! Whats wrong with you? She sighed. Nothing. Justin walked up and smileed. Hey, Katie. Ali. Ali smiled behind her shades. Hey. Joey grinned. Goin for a swim? Katie looked away. No, were not. Ali poked her. Yeah, wanna come? He laughed. Maybe. Katie grabbed Ali. Well, were goin now. Ali looked back at them and shrugged. Whoa! Whats the rush? Katie groaned. Ill talk later. They walked outside to the pool talking and laughing, and they stripped down to their suits and lay down on the lounges. Katie sighed happily. Ahh, relaxation. Ali laughed. For real! Katie stood up. Im gonna go get a bottle of water, ya want? Ali nodded. Thanks. Katie walked over to the machines and got 2 bottles. She walked back to Ali and tossed one down to her. Here. She felt someone grab her arm. Say what? Ali tried hard not to laugh, when she saw who it is. Hey! This isnt funny! Katie said, as she felt someone grab her other arm, leaving her kicking. Ali! Ali smiled innocently. Uh-uh, youre on your own. Katie saw Justin sit next to her and she looked over to see Joey and JC holding on to her. Let me go! She started squirming. JC grinned devilishly. Wanna go for a swim? She started yelling. No! Oh, gosh, cmon Ali! Justin! This isnt funny! Put me doooowwwn! Joey laughed. This is my revenge for last night. Katie started whining. No! Please, JC, dont, this isnt funny! He laughed. Really? I sure think it is. Joey smiled. On 3 man. 1-2-3! They threw her into the pool. She came up sputtering. That wasnt funny! She reached up and smiled sweetly. Now help me up. JC groaned. Aww, fine. He took her hand and she yanked him down with her. Aaah! She laughed as she saw Joey get pushed in by Lance. JC came up and dunked her head under. He-! He started laughing. She came up and splashed him. Quit it! Joey came up behind her and pulled her under again. She swam over to the ladder and got out, before they can get her again. She got her towel and wrapped it around her and scooted over to a different lounge by herself and sat JC grabbed a towel and sat next to her. She turned away. He rolled his eyes. Aww, cmon, Katie, we were just messin around, lighten up. Katie turned back. Fine, fine, but no more. He nodded. Ok, truce. She looked around and sighed. I dont wanna leave. Im having too much fun, here. He nodded. I know. She sighed. Oh well. She frowned, as she heard her phone and picks it up. Hello? Yeah, I- I know, but I cant Im sorry, ok? Ill call later. Bye. She stood up. Im going back up. She walked over to Ali and Justin. Im gonna go. Ali smiled. Had enough? Katie laughed. Yeah. She walked to the elevator and got in examining her nails. She saw it was about to shut till a hand pushed it back and JC came in. She put her hands on her hips. What are you doing? He pointed up. Going upstairs. Katie shook her head. He looked at her seriously. It wasnt my idea to throw you in. Joey wanted to get back at you for the girl at the club. She held up her hand. It doesnt matter. He looked surprised. Youre not mad? She looked at him strangely. Should I be? He laughed. No. They emerged, heading to their own rooms. Hey, wait. She walked into her room and returned with his jacket. I forgot about it last night. She handed it to him and tucked a strand of hair behind her ear. Thanks. He shook his head. No problem. She smiled, and made the mistake of looking into his sparkling blue eyes and turned around and walked back in.
