I�m older than Justin in the first place and second I don�t need a bodyguard/ babysitter.� Andrea sighed.
�Well, hurry up. We�ve gotta get you to the airport on time.� Katie shrugged, nonchanlantly. �Whatever.� Jackie looked at her friend. �C�mon, K, it won�t be so bad, being surrounded by hott guys, partyin�, hangin� with celebs.� Josh smirked. �I agree with ya Katie, it�ll suck.� Jackie hit him hard. �Quiet!� He groaned. �Aww, shit�� Katie laughed as she watched her best friends fighting, and wondered how they remained a couple in the first place. Jackie grinned. �We�ll come visit, ok?�
Katie smiled. �Promise?� Jackie nodded, giving her best friend a hug. �Promise.� Josh leaned over and hugged her, as well. �Ah, well, you have fun.� Katie smiled. �Thanks guys. Hey, has Matt called?� Jackie shook her head no. �Nope.� Katie sighed. �Guess he�s still mad�� Jackie hit her. �Hey! Cheer up! You�re goin� on tour with Nsync! Geeze, I�d love to be you!�
�No, you really don�t�� She stuffed a pair of white heeled sandals into her suitcase and slammed it shut. �Guess I�m ready. Walk me out?� As soon as they got outside, they found Matt standing in the driveway, staring at the ground. Katie�s eyes widened in surprise. �Matt??!� She ran to him, throwing her arms around him. Matt grinned. �Hey, there darlin�.� Katie looked up at him. �Are you still��
�Mad? No. I sat and thought about it for awhile and this is a great opportunity for you.� She smiled. �Good. Cuz it would be bad, me leaving and you still mad�� He pulled her closer and kissed her. She kissed him back and then hugged him. �I�m gonna miss you so much! Come visit me?� He smiled. �You got it babe.� Katie kissed him one last time, then stalked off to her yellow Jeep. She gave her boyfriend a little wave and grinned at her friends. �Bye ya�ll.� Josh grinned. �Ya�ll? C�mon, now, K, none of that Tennesseean talk, got it?� Katie stuck her tongue out at him. �Can�t help it. Bye guys.�

As her mom drilled her on the do�s and don�ts, Katie, stared off into space, not listening to a word she said. Her mom paused. �Hey! Daughter, are you listening?� Katie looked at her boredly. �Actually, no, Mom, I�m not. I�m thinking about how a 19-year-old like me doesn�t have control of her own life.�
Her mom sighed. �Listen: Justin and probably JC will be at the airport to get you, got it?� Katie looked at her surprised. �JC? Gosh, I haven�t seen him, in like 7 years!� Andrea kissed her cheek. �Give your cousin and Aunt Lynn a hug for me and dad, k?� Katie nodded. �Sure mom.� Her mom looked at her sternly. �Behave yourself. No smart-ass talk, got it?� Katie rolled her eyes. �Fine, unless, I see little Miss Spears.� Her mom smiled. �Have fun, you know you will.� Katie shook her head and headed for the terminal thinking about how much she was gonna miss Matt. She sat down in her seat and pulled out her cd player and popped in Destiny�s Child.
