| The million-dollar smile. 'Works every time,' Justin thought to himself as he listened to the giggles escape from the mouth next to him. A small brunette hung loosely on his arm as they walked out of a trendy restaurant. "Dinner was great Justin," she smiled at him sweetly. "I really enjoyed it." "It was my pleasure." He replied. "Are you sure you can't stay tonight, lover?" her eyes begged him to join her for another night of passion. She caressed the back of his neck for persuasive purposes. "Joy, you know I can't." he sighed. "Its not that I don't want to. I'd love to, you know I would, but I've got business to finish up." "Alright." She drew her hand back to her side. "But this weekend right?" "You bet sugar." He flashed his smile, resulting in yet another giggle. With a final kiss, Justin shut the door to her car. Justin waved one last time before turning and walking to his own BMW. 'She is cute,' Justin smiled. Just as quickly as the smile played upon his lips, it disappeared. 'But is she worth it?' Was Justin willing to give up everything if she found out? He confidently reassured himself before entering the dark house with a sigh. *The Next Morning* Molly woke up with a smile. The first thing she saw that morning, just like every other morning for 4 years, was a set of stunning baby blues. "Morning, doll." The owner of the eyes spoke. Just the sound of his voice made her smile. "Good morning." She replied as she kissed the tip of his nose. "You're beautiful even when you wake up," he told her as he brushed a stray blonde curl out of her eyes. "You don't waste any time on the charm do you?" she asked with a smile. "Nope." He kissed her softly and smiled. "Today is all about you." "Oh really." She raised an eyebrow. "Yep." Justin wrapped a sheet around his waist as he walked into the bathroom. Molly propped herself up on an elbow and watched as he walked across the room. Smiling, she replied, "What makes today so special?" The water Justin began to run from the faucet ceased. "What?" "Is today some special occasion?" "You're kidding right?" A somber expression crossed his face. "Yes I am." She laughed. "I? I knew that." Justin smiled shyly. Molly wrapped the remaining blanket around her and approached the bathroom where Justin was brushing his teeth. "Four years." She said with a smile as she wrapped her arms around him from behind and laid her head on his bare back. "Can you believe it?" Molly released her grip so Justin could rinse his mouth and dry off his face. "I can." He told her as he held her tightly in his arms. He kissed the top of her head. "And today and tonight are all about you." "Well, what are you gonna do?" she asked. "It's a surprise." Chapter Two |
