| the new arrival by: pan chan The entire gang was waiting pateintly in the waitong room (were else?)of the Satan City hospital. Goten was being amused by a small lizard he snuck in with him, Bra and Trunks are sitting on the floor while Bra forces Trunks to play hand games with her. (hes not doing so well i might add)Kiririn #18 and maron chan were sitting excitedly at the chairs by the door, although Kiririn was poking fun at Gohan while Gokuh was trying to calm him down, which wasnt working the best. Chi Chi was adding the finishing touches on a small yellow knitted blanket, Bluma was poking at a teddy bear nearly ripping its eyes out. While Piccolo and Vegeta were leaning against the only bare wall. Vegeta looked like hed rather be dead than there as for piccolo he had a calm smug grin on his face Care to know why everyone was waiting there? If you havent figured it out by now, The newest addition to the Son family was about to arrive, Videl was in labor. (having her baby in lamens terms) Gohan was pacing back and forth in front of the nursery door, "eerrgghh! whats taking so long?!?!" he said in a very exasperated tone. Kirirn just laughing said "what do you expect? with a Son kid, it's neaver an easy matter.." Gokuh putting his hand on Gohans shoulder stoping him from the insasive pacsing said"Calm down Gohan, everything will be fine. In a few hours youll be home with your first kid and be freaking out about everything else.." "gee thanks i feel soo much better now" he replyed in flat sarcasim. Gokuh laughed" I'm glad i wasnt this bad when you were Goten were born" Chi Chi chimed in with a smirk" Thats because with Gohan you passed out and Goten you were dead." Everyone got a laugh out of that (except vegeta, to korny for him and maybe me too) Finally it was Bluma who asked"So, Gohan do you know if its a boy or girl?" "no, Vedel refused to let them tell us, I guess she wanted to be surpirsed..." "shed be more surpirsed if it had a tail, like you did" she laughed at her own illwitted joke. Finally 4 hours the doctor came out smiling. "congratulations Son Gohan theres now another female in your family, its a girl" Gohan nearly passed out he was so happy. "come with me, I'll take you to your family." Gohan walked into room 4 very slowly, There was a bed in the center of the room, with one window looking out to the city, his wife was in there,Videl with hair down to her shoulders, pale skin and bright blue eyes was holding a bundle lovingly and carefully, then smiled as she saw Gohan enter. "say hello to your daughter." He knelt next to the bed Vedel was sitting up in and carressed the baby's cheeck gently "shes butiful, just like you" said gohan starstruck ":And has your stubborness" she said laughing. "here hold her.." She said as she handed a small little girl with blue eyes with a small amout of black hair that had a tiny white kniited hood placed on it, and she was wrapped in a small pink blanket. Gohan carefully took the baby and held her close to him ans smiled at her lovingly while she looked at him with her blue eyes. "the doctors say within a few weeks I'll be back to my old self, but till then i have to stay in bed, will you be able to handle her till then?" "yeah, i learned a lot when i had to help take care of Goten when he was younger, so well be allright." Vedel smiled to herslef knowing goohan would be a good father. A few mintues later the baby was brought into the nursery were everyone was waiting behind the glass window that seperated the 2 rooms. They were all smiles looking at the little girl including vegeta. Gohan left room 4 to let Vedel sleep and then was greated by a frantic hug from his mother and thousands of pats and congratulations as he walked back into the waiting room. Finally Vegeta was the first to speak up " So, whats the brats name?" And after a slap from buluma, from him being rude, everyone just sat there and thought....and thought... and thought, Untill finally Gokuh jumped up. "i got it!" "welll what is it then?" everyone asked almost simotaneously. "Pan""Pan?!?" "yeah think about it, woudnt it be funny! I mean your name is rice, might as well have bread to go along with it!" Everyone sighed... "nice thinking there dad, im guessing your hungry.." said gohan with a sarcastic smirk. "yeah actually howd ya know?" "neaver mind" he replyed with a sigh.. "vedel, probably will think its an odd name, but due to lack of anyting better to name her.. that will do. And i suppose its catchy." Said gohan smiling giving up. gokuh nodded and then a rumbling was heard "can we eat now?!?! i havent had anything in umm... 6 hours!!!! im hungry!!!" and of course everything went smoothly on earth in those first erly years of Pans life. ~fine' well that was it, yes yes so stupid... but heres my rathr lame excuse, i was watching the last four episodes od dbz, wich i mihgt add r funny, but anyways, afterwards i was thinking.... what was it like the day of the birth?was Gohan and Vedel good parents? Or did gokuh spoil her to much and thats why she was like that or what?! well im not sure how my train of reasoning came to be, but i wrote this when i had an entire little story thought out.. now mind you it was better in my head, and hotaru's writings are soooooooooooooooo much better than mines.. i just though i'd post this somewere... so here it is... ok bye... flame at me if you want.. i could care less. |
