and try and cheer her up a bit. We left out early from Gaithersburg, MD,
it is a 3 1/2 hour drive, unless you miss an exit, which we did.
It turned into a 4 1/2 drive, but that was ok, we saw some
beautiful scenery on the way.

When we got
to Sandra's there
was snow and ice on the roads.

We were
greeted warmly in the drive by David.

Sandra was doing great considering her broken leg. She was
still in a lot pain but her spirits were high.
We played dominos and had a great time visiting.
David
kept the fire going and kept it warm and cozy in the cabin.

The next morning we left, Sandra and David came back to Gaitherburg
with us to visit a few days. So we packed up and headed back.
As most of
you have heard, A few weeks before Sandra broke her leg, She had a
wreck on her way to work,
after a snow storm, the roads were iced over and she slid off the road,
striking a tree. The truck and tree had structural damage,
but thankfully Sandra was not hurt. She survived that without a
scatch,
then a
little step got her. I told ya'll, Steps are dangerous!!!

On the way out we stopped to take a picture of
their truck and the tree she hit.

We had such a nice time while they were visiting.
Sandra
had a doctors appt., so they had to leave early Wednesday
morning.
We really enjoyed their company.
And it was good to Sandra doing so well.
