Today
Paul, Renee and I got up early and headed up to Memphis.
It was a beautiful
morning and a beautiful day, sunny and about 80 degrees.
It was a nice drive.

We got to Memphis checked into our room,
then we went to TGI Fridays to get a bite to eat.

Paul
went to check on the job, while Renee and I shopped a bit.
Then we went down to Beale
Street. Beale Street is a great place to take in
Memphis night life. Beale Street is a must-see. Beale street
offers many hot entertainment spots; you can dance to the bands that
play in the open
in Handy Park, or mingle in the night clubs that line Beale
Street.
Beale Street is where the Blues was born and lives on to this day.

We went to a
place called Jillians for some
fun and games, we had a blast
playing video bowling.
Then we went to one of Paul and my favorite spots, the Rum Boogie Cafe
for good music and a delicious sausage and cheese plate.

Then we took
a stroll down Beale, we stopped to check out on of the newest clubs
Pat O'Brien's Memphis on
Beale Street it is a replica of the famous New Orleans bar.
The
Patio, complete with the famous flaming fountain.
The unique
architecture of New Orleans is preserved throughout the complex,
complete with a wrought iron balcony overlooking Rufus Thomas Drive
and beautiful French doors on historic
Beale Street.

Renee
stopped to get a tattoo (it's washable)
we had
a great time in Memphis, I can't wait to return.
On
Sunday we drove back to Jackson visited with Jeff and Jenna and got
ready for
our
6:00 am flight back to Virginia.
