On Friday we left Fayetteville, NC and drove to Virginia Beach for a little R&R.

We got a room with a balcony overlooking the ocean.
It was fantastic, we opened up the sliding glass door
and slept with sounds of the waves and the wonderful ocean breeze.

We  got up early to watch the sunrise.
           



                



later on, 100's  of people showed up on the beach to fly kites.
It was fun sitting on the balcony and watching all the different kites.

       

   


                               





Later we  walked down the boardwalk and stopped to get a bite to eat.

      

We had a great time, Sunday  we  left Virginia Beach going to Salisbury, MD.
