I Annie B. Layton of McLean County, wishing to make disposition of my property do make this my last and only Will and testament.

1st I will and bequeath to my granddaughter Ollie Porter my entire estate, consisting of livestock 3 head of cattle and 4 hogs all my household goods. Kitchen and cupboard ___, and all articles belonging to me including all crops that may be on hand.

2d I will and request that my son J. C. Layton pay for my coffin and burial expenses and to have me properly buried when I die.

McLean County Court/Mch 7th 1898

At a county court held for McLean County at the courthouse in Calhoun Ky on the 7th day of Mch 1898, the foregoing instrument of writing was produced in court purporting to be the last will and testament of Annie B. Layton deceased late of this county and proven by the oaths of J. P. Johnson and W. A. Johnson subscribing witnesses thereto whereupon the court same was established by the court to be the last will and testament of said testation and ordered to be recorded and the same is recorded in my office as clerk of said county.
