We are not your typical poodle breeder, we do not discard our pets after they can no longer produce puppies, they are here, with us, for life. Many have lived to 15 years old. We also don't pump out poodle puppies by breeding EVERY TIME the female goes into heat. The girls are my PETS FIRST and get time to rest between litters, producing fat healthy babies. The poodle puppies are born in my office and remain there until they are about three weeks old. At that time they are unhappy with being confined and are moved to the family room where they can play and explore. They are exposed to kids, other dogs, vacume, clippers etc. They have had two visits to the vet and at least three haircuts by the time they go to their new homes. Depending on the time of year they are born, they have started potty training outside. We load them up for short car rides and try to expose them to as many new situations as possible (taking them to the pet store, for example). Making them confident, secure pets. Each poodle puppy goes home with a bean bag bed that smells like us, making their first night easier for everyone. I would rather NOT ship the poodle babies as it must be upsetting and confusing for a young puppy. However I am NOT opposed to driving part way, all of those details can be worked out. We welcome visitors after the babies arrive. My adult poodles are with us at all times. NO ONE IS CAGED. In the event we do leave them (too hot to remain in the VAN that we call the "POO HAUL"), they have a poodle room and Poodle Palace made especially for them.

I carefully select PET homes. The poodle puppies are sold with limited registration (no exceptions). Since this is my 6th generation of poodles I know we are free of illness. I do not guarentee color (no one does or can). But I guarentee they are healthy! The poodle puppies LOVE people and have calm wonderful temperments. They adapt easily to their new home, children and other pets. I post pictures of the babies almost daily to the website, so you can watch them grow with us.
