The locating starship moved to intercept but the Borg Cube did not fire upon the locating vessel, instead the Cube returned to what Intelligence believes to be assimilated space. A subspace beacon was set to warn any ships in the area to stay clear incase of a Borg attack. In a transmission sent from the U.S.S. Cochrane to the U.S.S. Crozier, Fleet Admiral Christopher Folly was noted asking premission from Fleet Admiral Soren to enter the wormhole on a search mission. No response on subspace transmissions were noted. | Upon retrieval of the U.S.S. Thunderchild an unknown race attacked 3 Pampanito Fleet vessels. The new species is said to have superior fire power as well as armament. In a deep space scan the U.S.S. Lexington picked up a garbled transmission from the species. Intellegence has set to work trying to identify this race but have had no luck to date.
