Last Will and Testament
We, the graduating class of 1964-65 of the Pampanga High School, on this our graduation day, May 20, 1965, confident that we have fulfilled the requirements of high school education and all obligations thereunto appertaining, hereby make it known, put into writing, print, and attest the following to be our last will and testament.
First - To our beloved Principal, Mr. Pablo Pinlac, Asst. Principals Miss Rosa Custodio and Mr. Reyes-David, and to all members of the teaching staff, we express our heartfelt thanks for all their efforts and sacrifices to give us the skills and training we need.
Second - To all students we are leaving behind, we entrust all the buildings, facilities and conveniences of the PHS, with hope that they will be improved and made more convenient for study.
Third - To the next generation of Senior students in Annex Three, we leave the responsibilities and work yet undone of being models and leader of the lower years.
Fourth - the outgoing "P" (The Pampangan) and "S" (Ang Sinukuan) staffers extend to the succeeding inky tribe, all their hopes and unused luck on next year's NSSPC.
Lastly - we also leave behind our individual properties and peculiarities only on a no-exchange-no-return basis:
- Jaime Chan passes his skill in "Monkey" to anybody who looks like one.
- Renato "Abong" Tayag's only heir to his popularity among the fairer sex is Rodante Canlas.
- Alberto Sayag wills his command of the Air Scouts, his presidency in the Student Council and his managership of the Flickers Combo, to nay wonderful fellow who will qualify for all three.
- Joaquin "Waks" Gopiao's bulging muscles, protruding stomach, moustache and all, will be inherited by Bartolome Lim.
- Benito Velasco hands down his unruly hair and Chinese jargons to Benito Lee.
- Bernardo Capati leaves his tickets to Estrella and Jiji Theatres to his brother, Jose Capati.
- Amorlito Suba turns over his love songs and his broken guitar to his brother, Feliciano Suba.
- Lourdinez Sanchez bequeaths his worn-out Italian shoes and his Beatles album to Erico Sason.
- Marietta Toledano and Dandy Liwanag leave to Antonietta Ocampo and Angelina Manalili, plasters in the clinic to quiet them down.
- Alejandro David bestows his ever-ready smile, his helpfulness and sportsmanship to Ely Dula.
- Vergel David, Reynaldo Samson and Alfredo Galang leave the volleyball pennant to be claimed by teammates Amor Guarin, Mario Bautista and Oscar Tapia.
- Enriqueta Figueroa gladly relinquishes her scholarship and valedictory position to Leni Sison.
- Marilyn de Castro yields her telescopic spectacles to Merlita Penuliar.
- Leopoldo David willingly transfers his rights to confidential secrets and love notes to M.C. to whoever can't write his own.
- Renato Alarcon gives his juicy watermelons to any full-blooded Canadians.
- The beauteous belles : Josefina David, Araceli Bondoc, Evelyn Miranda and Vern Santos, hand down their beauty kits and tips to Nancy David, Rosalinda Malig, Betzaida David and Corazon de Jesus.
- Almario Santos consigns his accuracy and efficiency in solving physics mysteries to Ponciano Intal.
- Franklin Young's "blue seal" complexion is awarded to Marcial Nucup.
- Edna Dayrit grants her fly-away hair to comely Edna Gorospe.
- Estrelita Hilario's starry eyes and stellar dreams are transferred to Gloria Caraan.
- Prospero Carlos, Eduardo del Rosario and Romeo Sanga, will imbibe the foolproof, pimple vanishing love potions of PHS playboys Geronimo Laxina, Efren Pineda and Armengo Santos.
- Antonietta Nunag donates her extra inches to short-legged Maria Luz Ruiz.
- Ernesto Munoz's greasy, old stuff is conceded to Reynaldo Quiambao.
- Agnes Regala is the inheritor of the wonderful voice of Felisa Dayrit.
- Up and coming Maria Socorro Ruiz is entitled to Andrea Dizon's action and diction in poetry.
- We willingly permit the adaptation of the Vigilant Party's name to any group who promises to keep close to watch of the Student Body's welfare.
- To Benedicto Ocampo, Cadet Col. Manuel Ocampo surrenders his sword and cap.
- Jose "SSS 003" Lalisan Jr. names his brother, Antonio Lalisan, his only heir to his all-weather Spanish boots.
- The well-pressed and very near uniforms of Estelita Angeles, Helen Ocera, Lida Gopez and Lolita Mendiola are graciously turned over to Glenda Palanca, Norma Ventura, Julieta Romero, Bella Tuazon and Josefina Joven.
- Fernando Fernando will receive the steady nerves and hands of Max Calbang in sketching and drawing.
- Melvin Canlas passes with pleasure the social calendar of the Checkmates to Elmer Santos.
- Marietta Magsino, Fely Sambo and Amelia Yap are successors of Aida Tayao, Marina Halili and Humbelina Manalastas in the arrangement and classification of reading matters in annex Three's library.
- Paulita Pamintuan, Priscilla Reyes and Teresita Manapul will be pinch-hitting for leaving teammates Arden Cabus, Nuinilon David and Bernadette Dizon.
- The Bayawa sisters, Norma and Cecilia, and Danilo Garcia consign their membership in the Glee Club to Marilou Pongco, Ofelia Roque and Demetrio Mallari.
- Fernando 'Pending' Santos' military bearing is bequeathed to Marcos Garcia.
- Emmanuel Montalbo and Ernesto Laus leave their spiked moccasins to the dashing pair of Alfredo Catacutan and Ricardo Quiambao.
- The skills in electricity of Rolando Perez we bequeath to Honorio Pangan.
- Marcial Morales Jr. offers his "Grandson of Herodotus" title to any student of Jose "Hammurabi" Amurao, who is equally adept in memorization.
- Reynaldo Bagsic and Jesus Dolor request that their leftovers at Norma's Refreshment stand, will be served to Alberto Pascua.
- Espanol-speaking Virginia Ventura leaves her unmemorized "Mi Ultimo Adios" to Carmelita Lapid.
- Eloisa Lopez cedes her list of tall, dark and never mind gentlemen to Lualhati Madla.
- Mazareo Carreon, Romula Pineda, Rogelio Vergara and Alex Batac will carry on the winning tradition established by leaving teammates Renato Ocampo, Joel Santos, Alberto Guintu and Remigio Suing.
Finally, we submit our records to our kind guidance counselor Miss Rosario Makabali, and to Mr. Pedro Gordo, our property cutodian. We also want to extend our gratitude to our hardworking janitors - Bong, Ben, Mario, Martin, Conrado, and especially Apung Disio.
