To the Juniors with Love

Dear Juniors,

High school life imprints memories or happy times we have had. Days when we shared other’s triumph, fun, crushes, frivolities and affliction. A few days from now we’ll be bidding goodbye to the treaty study and association. Indeed there is no period in life that is filled of joys and living and sweet little torments than that of the high school days. As seniors we already belong to the upper bracket. We enjoy the world of adolescence, a world of jitters and excitement. Somehow I don’t say that our senior year has always been rose-tinted for there have been also dark moments wherein we even wished that we had never gone to school at all.

During this period of our life, we are apt to be mischievous. There are times when we think that everything we do is for fun, that our favorite pastime is talking about Elvis Presley, current fashion and crushes, that the most interesting thing to do is fill up a slum book and answer personal questions written in it; that life is a continuous season of boredom when our teachers give long sermons in order to lead us in the right path; that such a boy is cute because he always sports a sweet smile, he is tall, dark and handsome and to top it all he is your crush.

Dear Juniors, you may wonder why OI mention all of these. Funny, I don’t know why … now that graduation is at hand, all at once I have that sentimental feeling of wishing that days could extend longer so that we may enjoy more your company. But life really goes that way, in the great order of things, the binding tie between people is broken sometimes, but that does not mean that we should close our memory for each other.

We shall meet again, yes, we will, along the noble halls of our school and we’ll offer her laurels of success.

So dear brothers and sisters, we bid you our last adieu and may you enjoy your life to the fullest!

With love,

Seniors

Felisa Dayrit.
