| 02/03/04 We have a name & a new coming home date! |
| PRINCESS VALENTINE Our new little bundle of fur's name is very fitting considering she is my husband's valentine present to me and will be my little princess! Speaking of "little", we will be calling her "Tiny". Tiny gets to come home a day early! So she will be coming home on Thursday the 12th instead of the 13th! What fun, I get to start potty training a day early!!! LOL! But more importantly, I get puppy kisses a day earlier as well! |
| 02/08/04 Visited with Tiny and her mom, J.J. |
| My husband and I got to visit with Tiny and her mom today! Her mom's name is "J.J." She is an absolutely beautiful white "toy" and I know that Tiny definitely got her looks from her! Her daddy is a dark apricot and is very pretty too. Tiny is still as small as ever! It does not even look like she has grown any but of course she has! I got lots and lots of puppy kisses while we were there but they were not enough to tide me over until she comes home! I can't wait until she is here and I can have puppy kisses all the time! She will be sleeping with me and my husband so he better get ready to move on over! Not that she will take up that much room! We have gotten some toys already for when she comes home! And we should have a digital camera in time for her arrival so we can put up lots and lots of pictures so everyone can see how beautiful she is! |

| 02/11/04 TINY CAME HOME EARLY!!! |
| Our little princess got to come home even earlier than we had hoped for! We were able to get a really good picture of Tiny's mom J.J. before we loaded up for home. Click on the photo link to see the two of them together. But before we could go home, we had to stop by and let Mamaw see Tiny. It was love at "second" sight (since Mamaw had seen Tiny already two weeks earlier)! Tiny also got to meet the other dogs at Mamaw's: Cocoa - a Chocolate Lab, Holly - a Shih Tzu, and Rosie - a Chihuahua. After the required sniffing of noses and tails, it seemed like everybody liked Tiny. Tiny really seemed to like Rosie the best which we think is because they are roughly the same size! Finally we made it home and Princess Valentine set out to survey her new domain! Well, as much of it as her little legs would allow! After a tiring session of playing, taking pictures, eating, taking pictures, going potty, and taking more pictures (she really wants Daddy to give the picture taking a break!), Tiny curled up on her Mommy and took a much deserved and needed nap! Needless to say, there are going to be plenty of "little" (pun intended) adventures and misadventures to write about. But for now I will cut it short and get back to enjoying our wonderful little treasure! |
