  1. Planning Conference
    1. Supervisor and teacher collaboratively identify instructional issues of concern
    2. Supervisor and teacher collaboratively identify focus of observation
    3. Jointly agree on a strategy for collecting observation data
    4. Jointly make logistical plans and decisions for the observation
      1. determine date and time for observation
      2. agree upon the desired length of observation (20-40 minutes)
      3. schedule date and time for feedback conference
  2. Classroom Observation and Data Collection
    1. Supervisor focuses observation on agreed upon aspects
    2. Supervisor adheres to the agreed upon strategy for collecting data
    3. Supervisor prepares written observation report

    4. Conclude feedback conference with:
      1. agreed upon improvement plan
