The purpose of this publication is to furnish stories for Breckenridges to read, stories that may be historical, legendary or mythical, just so they relate to other Breckenridges and serve to develop an interest and a pride in being a member of that clan. The intention is not to compile a genealogy stating only the names and dates of birth and death of individuals. Most Breckenridges do more interesting and valuable things than merely to be born and to die.
The form of this publication is the loose-leaf booklet. Contributions are invited from any who have appropriate materials and knowledge of its source. This material will be printed at irregular intervals and sent to holders of these booklets.
