Vacation Memoirs 2003
My boys loved catching these lizards--they're everywhere!  I had to bring a picture home...cuz I sure wasn't bringing a lizard home!
It's time to play everyone's favorite game:
"Can you find the sand crane?"

This, and the sunset/water picture above is Lake Henry. There are lots of lakes, orange groves, pine tree farms and cows in Florida. :-)
Who would have guessed that I snapped this picture out the window of a moving vehicle. We were on our way to Kissimmee to play minitature golf and I didn't ask dh to stop the truck. It came out okay, didn't it? My camera was a GOOD purchase!
Here are two of the trees that we saw in Florida. I never took much notice of the trees and skyline until I met Colleen. She pointed out the differences in our two regions when she visited near me.  In case you live in a mountainous region like me...there is a LOT of sky in Florida.  Without big ole hills to block the horizion, you can see a LOT of space.  :-)
Our vacation goals were:
*swim in the pool every day*
*play miniature golf twice*
*eat at CiCi's twice*
We did it all!  Well, dh and I didn't get to eat at CiCi's the second time. My folks took the kids there while dh and I went out for our anniversary. That's okay...we got CHINESE! :-)  The golf course was tough, as you can see by the pics.  There was a cave at one hole that had the dungeon in it. One guy looked happy---probably a result of all the empty bottles lying around.  The other one didn't look so good.  =8-0
