Sailing Palestine held a junior course during the last week of August , and on the Sail the World weekend of 1-2 September there were sailing activities on the beach . Damaged boats were repaired and in spite of siege imposed on Gaza , sailing Palestine held friendly races for its sailors .

These activities held under patronage with M. Majed Abu Ramadan , Gaza mayor in the marine club .The logo of ISAF in addition to the logo of Sail the World Weekend were raised on this historic day , with comprehensive media coverage .

We invited the sailors and the people to share us and to share the Sail the world Weekend , many people were happy : the kids, the youth male and female are very interested and excited , to learn so Sailing palestine is working hard to get more boats, especially Optimist sailing boats for the youngest new sailing fans .
