I think PJ Harvey, the artist, is very talented, but there's a negative factor in her, i don't really know what it is but it boders me.
One of the things i hate most about rock is when somebody makes 1 or 2 great records and becomes holy.
So, all the records to come (except for maybe record #10) are going to have a label:GENIUS NEW ALBUM on the cover,
Beck, Radiohead and PJ Harvey live in this pantheon.
It's like once you go up, you never come back!
Musicaly correct bands, shit!
I really hate this.
That's not her fault anyway....
But the fact that she is a self declared chauvinist makes me mad.
And her defense to the fox hunt makes me mad.
and she's way to drama queen sometimes.
But she is an amazing guitar player and DRY is a true masterpiece, one of the 90's best records.
