    This article describes how Hamas rule over Gaza has made Gaza more efficient (but not easier to live in mostly due to the Israeli blockade), and how rule has changed Hamas (made it more practical and strengthened its internal moderates who are more open to living next to Israel if Israel gives in on certain points). The article also describes how Israel's blockade (collective punishment) has not worked in its goal to weaken Hamas.
