BURT REYNOLDS EAST RAMPS
Photos Of Boat Ramp Facilities At Burt Reynolds Park (East Side) In Jupiter, Florida

Photo Of Burt Reynols Park East Side Ramps: The park has two sets of ramps.  One set is on the west side of U.S.1, the other is to the east of U.S. 1.  These photos show the east side ramps.

See Burt Reynolds Park highlighted on a nautical chart.

These four ramps are
well maintained by the county.  There is a restroom area and a reasonable amount of parking.  There is a "waiting dock" to the east, which can not be seen from the parking lot (see photo below.)

To use these ramps you must pass under one of
two fixed bridges. The closest is seen to the left side of the photo above.  Only jet skies and very short boats can make it underneath.

The other fixed bridge has a clearance of about 8 feet at high tide.  The bridge is about a
ten minute "no wake zone" cruise around the entire Burt Reynolds park area.  Many boaters do not like this delay in getting to the Intrercoastal Waterway.  Use the west side ramps to avoid the fixed bridges and extra cruising time.

Watch out if parking in unpaved areas. For some reason there is a lot of sharp debris in the sand and grass.  I have inadvertently picked-up a couple of sharp objects in my tires while parking off- pavement.

Generally these ramps are very crowded on weekends.  However, having four ramps makes the wait tolerable.

Watch out for traffic when entering or leaving the park.  U.S. 1 is busy.
Even though there is a stoplight, the county never turns it on! Be prepared to wait several minutes to get across U.S. 1 safely.

Photo of hidden "waiting dock" area, looking east from the ramps.  Note broken wood fenders and exposed bolts during low tide.  Many crabs can be found in the general area.
Another view of the ramps, as seen from the parking lot. The low U.S. 1 fixed bridge is seen on the right.

Look out for a wrecked (submerged) runabout boat near the bridge. It sometimes can be seen at low tide.
