A walking path circles the entire island.
Picnic shelters are available for day use.  The view of the Lake Worth Inlet and Palm Beach is fabulous.

The shelters feature
tables and a charcoal BBQ. These shelters are very popular.

Shelters are offered on a
first-come, first-served basis.   Shelters are claimed early in the day... it's best to get there very early!  The campground shelter can only be used by registered campers.
Restrooms, drinking fountains and pay phone are just across from the shelters and the docks.
Several fresh water rinse showers can be found around the island.  This one is located on the Island's north side.  The Blue Heron Bridge is seen in the background.

Questions about Peanut Island facilities can be answered through the County's Peanut Isalnd Office at (561) 845-4445.
