CORRESPONDENCE WITH
GRACE AND THE DISPOSITION OF THE SOUL
In the
mysterious designs of God over people it is conceded to individuals
greater or lesser graces that demand from them a correspondence. If an
individual does not
co-operate
with the demands of grace He submerges himself voluntarily in darkness
(Treatise 31.49).
Jesus
died desiring the salvation of all humanity, but he knew that those that
condemned themselves did so for want of correspondence with the graces
that he had conceded to them in life for their sanctification.
Jesus
when he choose the Apostles he gave to them sufficient graces so that they
might fulfil their Mission. We know one did not correspond. He was Judas
Iscariot. Throughout the ages Our Lord has given the successors of the
Apostles, the Bishops, Consecrated Women and members of the Church the
same graces to correspond to their calling.
The Christian
Man lives by faith and every word that comes from the mouth of God.
The
first Apostles, the Fisherman of Galilee by their correspondence repaired
to Jesus offended by the non-correspondence of the Jews and the Levitical
Hierarchy. (Treatise 32. v 142 143). In a similar manner today The
Apostles of the Last Times repair to Our Lord for the Apostasy of the
Hierarchy of the Church of Rome.
Catholics
are obliged to bear the fruits of the virtues under threat of being
chastised as was the Jewish Nation spoken of under the figure of
the cursed Fig Tree (Mat.21 v 18-21) Treatise 32 v 136.Perhaps here,
there is also an allusion in this figure to a latter day re-enactment of
the same Apostasy, in which nobody is permitted to despise the faithless
Jews; for do we not live the hour of the faithless gentiles?
In
Apocalypse c 6.v13 we read;
And the stars from heaven fell upon the earth,
As the fig Tree casteth its green figs
When it is shaken by a great wind.
The fig
tree referred to in this verse is a Gentile Fig Tree. The Church of Rome
and the Palmarian Church are the continuators of the Ancient Church of the
Hebrews and the Book of the Apocalypse was written after the Jews had been
disinherited. The green figs are figs little ripened and in grafted on the
branch and so easily fall to the ground at the slightest wind.
The
Jewish People’s lack of correspondence to graces allowed themselves to
be deceived by the Sanhedrin and through convenient obedience were lead to
the Sin of the Deicide. Have persons that were called to replace
the Jews perpetuated the Deicide in the Mystical Body of Christ throughout
the ages? There never was wanting a Judas down through the centuries in
the Church!
By
reason of fault of correspondence
to God’s calling scandals have multiplied inevitably in the Church and
in Society. But as Jesus advised in the Gospel Woe to those by
whom scandals come..
The
practise of the virtues must embrace the most insignificant obligations
and duties of life. When Our Lord sees faithfulness practised by a Soul in
the least perfect he will not deny his grace to the individual to do so in
the most perfect. Treatise c.32. v102.
God
gives his graces to those who are tempted, if the soul corresponds he will
overcome the temptation, and in so doing his Soul will becomes more
vigorous in virtue and more in grafted on the Mystical Olive that
is the Church.
With
the practise of the virtues Souls are inflamed to follow the inspirations
of the Holy Spirit, who desires to conduct and guide Souls to higher
sanctity, the glorification of the Souls of the Church Militant depends on
the response to his loving action. Exquisite fidelity to the Holy
Spirit’s promptings will lead to the mysterious delight of spiritual
Science.
